Jefferson merchants are kicking off the holiday season with open houses this weekend. “Hometown Holiday Shopping” is the theme for the 13-plus businesses with this being the first of several promotions planned.
Participating merchants will have treats, drawings and special offers this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The merchants are finalizing plans for Shop Small Saturday, to be held nationwide on Nov. 28. Photos with Santa Claus are scheduled at Meythaler Studios from 10 am to 1 pm.
Sleigh Ride Sunday is set for Nov. 29, with stores open from 12 to 3 pm. Stores will be open Sundays in December from 12 to 3 pm and Thursday evenings until 7 pm.
A Main Street and Chamber Community will post updates / schedule changes / additions due ot COVID-19 requirements on social media.
